How to make USB Memory stick installation with MacOSX Yosemite In MacOSX Apps store download Yosemite. Select the USB Memory stick over 8G memory. Format this USB Memory with : format ---Mac OS Ext.— Download the New Mac OSX of Apple Store (e.g. Yosemite, Mavericks).  The memory driver name must be “Untitled" After download Yosemite.app. Open Terminal  Key In the terminal screen “ sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia —volume /Volumes/Untitled —applicationpath /Applications/ Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app —no interaction”
